As part of the Somerion Hotel development, an amphitheater with a capacity of 90 seats was designed to host large-scale conferences, seminars, and cultural gatherings. This space responds to the growing need of the city’s business and professional community for venues suitable for specialized programs and high-capacity events. The design draws inspiration from Somerian civilization, incorporating symbolic motifs and architectural rhythms while merging them with modern standards of functionality and comfort. The amphitheater not only serves as a professional conference hall but also stands as a cultural landmark, offering guests and participants a unique experience that blends heritage with contemporary elegance in the heart of Nasiriyah.
Awesome Restaurant
Rising above the skyline of Nasiriyah, the rooftop restaurant and lounge of Somerion Hotel offers guests an elevated dining and social experience. The concept combines a glass-covered indoor restaurant with uninterrupted panoramic views of the city, alongside an open-air lounge that integrates water features, pergolas, and a cozy fireplace. Inspired by a flowing sequence of arches, the design establishes continuity and a strong architectural identity across the space. This project blends comfort with cultural sophistication, providing both intimate indoor dining and vibrant outdoor gathering areas. Guests are invited to choose their experience—whether the refined ambiance of the glass-covered interior or the lively charm of the open-air lounge.

The meeting room at Somerion Hotel was designed to fulfill the needs of a five-star establishment hosting official gatherings, private meetings, and training sessions. Our architectural vision combined classical elegance with references to the historical identity of the Somerian civilization, resulting in a refined and functional conference space. Special attention was given to the seating arrangements and the VIP reception area, ensuring both comfort and prestige for distinguished guests. By integrating spaces for rest and hospitality, the meeting room provides a well-rounded environment that supports productive discussions while offering a touch of exclusivity. This project reflects the hotel’s commitment to excellence and cultural sophistication.
Amazing Lobby
The lobby of Somerion Hotel was envisioned as the first point of contact between the guest and the overall hospitality experience. Our design approach focused on creating a space that conveys simplicity, comfort, and tranquility while subtly reflecting the deep Sumerian cultural heritage of the region. Architectural lines and symbolic motifs were integrated into the ceiling and walls, guiding movement and evoking a sense of place. By breaking the monotony of long corridors, the design ensures a fluid and engaging spatial experience. More than just a transitional zone, the lobby embodies history, hospitality, and architectural elegance, welcoming visitors to a city rich in cultural significance.
