Abstract
The Moroccan VIP Suites reinterpret the soul of Moroccan hospitality through a warm, layered, and emotionally rich spatial experience. TTL’s design approach focuses on atmosphere, cultural narrative, and spatial depth rather than ornamental excess—translating the essence of Moroccan living into a contemporary and coherent interior language.

Design Identity & Concept

The project began with a central question:
“How can the warmth and intimacy of Moroccan hospitality be reinterpreted within a contemporary VIP guest experience?”

Moroccan spaces are built around emotion—warmth, softness, layered transitions, and tactile textures.
The design follows these same values through:

  • gentle, layered lighting
  • earthy tones and warm palettes
  • soft geometries and Moroccan-inspired patterns
  • an atmosphere that feels lived-in, calm, and welcoming

The result is a space defined not by decoration, but by meaning.

Why the Moroccan Style?

Guest-experience studies revealed that young couples showed the highest preference for spaces that feel warm, intimate, and culturally expressive.
The Moroccan style naturally aligned with these expectations—
offering emotional richness, texture, and optical warmth—while still remaining fully aligned with the architectural identity of the hotel.

Together with the Classic and New-Classical suites, this project completes the third personality within the VIP suite collection.

Moroccan Spatial Hierarchy

Moroccan architecture is built on a layered spatial order—
a gradual transition from public to semi-private to private domains.
This cultural principle shaped the organization of the suite:

  • a warm, generous seating area
  • a soft semi-private zone
  • a quiet, intimate sleeping area
  • seamless transitions between layers

This hierarchy creates a sense of respect, intimacy, and emotional safety.

Accessory & Object Design

All accessories and interior objects—including:

  • carpets
  • curtains
  • headboards
  • lighting elements
  • patterns and textures
  • decorative objects

were fully developed at the design level by TTL,
ensuring a coherent aesthetic language tailored specifically for this suite concept.
(Design-only scope; not including production or on-site execution.)

TTL’s Signature in This Project

TTL’s design philosophy in this suite is shaped around:

  1. Cultural narrative without clichés
  2. Geometric rhythm blended with emotional atmosphere
  3. Coherence across architecture, decoration, and accessories

This creates a warm, meaningful experience rooted in culture—
a space that feels both intimate and refined.
